Upload a PDF resume and an AI backend extracts the structured data behind it: personal info, work experience, education, skills, projects, and achievements. That data is then rendered through a customizable theme and published as a hosted website, all in under a minute.

What file formats can I upload?

Accepted Answer

PDF only. Files must be 5MB or smaller and 2 pages or fewer. Most standard resume PDFs work without any preparation.

Can I customize the design after generating it?

Accepted Answer

Yes. From the dashboard you can change the accent color (16 presets or any custom hex), the font (six curated options including Geist, Inter, Outfit, and JetBrains Mono), border radius, spacing, and section order. Each theme also has its own controls, like Modern hero layout, Terminal prompt style, scanlines, glow, and more.

Do I need a custom domain?

No. Every registered user gets a free subdomain at username.itsfolio.tech, which works as a real shareable URL with no DNS, hosting, or deployment setup required.

Can I edit my portfolio data after uploading?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After signing in, you can manually edit every field in your resume (personal info, work experience, education, skills, projects, achievements) from the dashboard. You can also re-upload a new resume at any time to overwrite the existing data.

How long does it take to generate a portfolio?

Accepted Answer

Under a minute in most cases. After upload, the PDF is parsed by the AI backend and rendered into your selected theme. As soon as parsing completes, your portfolio is live at the generated URL.

Will my portfolio have a watermark or itsfolio branding?

Accepted Answer

No. Your generated portfolio pages have no watermarks, badges, or visible itsfolio branding. The design is entirely yours.

Is my resume data private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. itsfolio does not sell your data or use it to train external AI models. Temporary guest portfolios are deleted automatically after 48 hours. Permanent portfolios persist until you delete your account. Full details are on the privacy page.
